DESIGNATIONS
Earned and Awarded
ABR
- (Accredited Buyer Representative). A designation awarded by the
Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council of the National Association of Realtors.
Requirements are attending a course in buyer representation and passing
an examination on legal and aspects of client representation in the
field of buyer representation. Earned by a very small percentage of
Realtors.
CCIM - (Certified Commercial Investment Member) - A recognized professional
in commercial real estate brokerage, leasing, assest management, valuation,
and investment analysis. The 240 hours of graduate-level curriculum
leading to the designation represent the finest education available
in real estate. Professional experience requirements ensure that a
CCIM is skilled not only in theory, but also in practice.
CIPS - (Certified International Property Specialist).
CRS - (Certified Residential Specialist). A professional designation
awarded by the Residential Sales Council, an affiliate of the National
Association of Realtors. Qualification is through advanced study in
listing, selling, investment and taxes plus demonstrated sales performance.
Only 4% of all Realtors have earned the right to be called a CRS.
GRI
- (Graduate Real Estate Institute Designation). A nationally recognized
designation earned by 10% of real estate salespeople and awarded through
the Florida Association of Realtors to those who complete an advanced
program of study in finance, taxes, transactional skills, professional
standards and other courses
REALTOR - A designation given to a real estate broker or sales-associate
who is a member of a board associated with the National Association
of Realtors or with the National Association of Real Estate Boards
and subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics.
SRES - (Senior Real Estate Specialist). A RealtorŪ with the SRESŪ
designation has the experience and knowledge necessary to become part
of a Senior Property Owner's financial team.

of the great variety of waters, however, there are several things

Two of the main issues are the draft (depth of water) and clearance
